発表者・共催・協賛大学募集のお知らせ
この度、カイロ大学文学部・日本研究センターでは、活動始めの行事として「明治以降の日本の経験から学ぶ―明治150周年を迎えて―」と題するテーマで国際シンポジウムを開催する運びとなりました。
平成30年（2018年）の今年は、明治150周年に当たります。明治以降、日本は多岐にわたる近代化への取り組みを行い、現在の日本という国の基本的な形を築き上げたことから、その道のりと取り組みには高い注目が集まっています。特にエジプトでは，日本が科学技術立国となった理由や背景を聞かれることが多々ありますが、これまで日本の近代化の過程や経験の分析が十分になされてきたとは言えません。明治150周年という節目を迎え、明治以降になされた日本の国づくりや近代化のプロセスを日本並びに中東地域の研究者の視点から、議論・分析することは，現在、人材育成に力を入れ、地域の経済・産業大国化を目指しているエジプト（などの諸外国）にとって、有効な視点を提示することができるのではないかと思われます。このような観点から，
今回のシンポジウムでは、多岐・多様な分野における発表を募り、日本の近代化の経験からの学びや活用方法等について議論する場とできればと希望しております。是非皆様のご参加を賜り、充実したシンポジウムにいたしたく、ここにご案内申し上げます。
